Marilyn M. Wenrich

November 11, 1937 - April 15, 2022

Marilyn M. Wenrich, 84, of Mason City, died Friday morning, April 15, 2022 at Good Shepherd Health Center. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, April 22, 2022 at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City. Officiating will be Larry Day. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to contribute to the North Iowa Humane Society in Mason City. Marilyn Mae was born on November 11, 1937, in Mason City the daughter of Raymond and Helen “Crabb” Finn. She graduated from Mason City High School. She moved to Texas for many years. She was an account executive for Belle Telephone Company and later worked for Lone Star College as a receptionist. While in Texas she was a very active member of the Red Hat Ladies and enjoyed being with friends. She also loved to go out to eat especially for Quesadillas. She volunteered with the local library. While in Texas she was a member of the His Will Fellowship Church in Magnolia, TX. She raised several dogs and cats that she dearly loved. Marilyn was a fan of football and followed the Texans and the Minnesota Vikings. She also followed her great niece Shyann and her sports career. Surviving are her niece and nephew, Sue and her husband Sean Beach of Cedar Falls, Sean and his wife Renee Cummings, Washington, Iowa and her great niece Shyann Beach, Naperville, Illinois. Preceding her in death are her parents, Sister Julie Finn-Cummings, and Brother Ray Wenrich.
