Charlotte Jean Reams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Charlotte Jean Reams, 82, of Charles City passed away peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2022 at her home. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Charlotte was born on January 26, 1940 in Floyd County to Kenneth and Bernadine (Leider) Reams. Charlotte went to school in Marble Rock and graduated from Rockford in 1959. She started working in Charles City at Club lowa Supper Club and continued working for many years in several different restaurants and cafes in Charles City. She worked at Easters Grocery Store in the bakery and then at Chautauqua Nursing home as dietary aide until she retired. After retirement she found her true joy, as a Foster Grandma in the Foster Grandparent Program. Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew, Terry (Jessica) Reams of Parkersburg; niece, Tracy (Mark) Tomlinson of Kensett; great nephew, Tyler (Alicia) Reams of Cedar Falls: great niece, Lyndsey Reams of Cedar Falls; great nephews, Ryen and Dylen Reams of Parkersburg; great-great nieces and nephews, Ella, Jackson, Charles, and Norah Reams and Rayelyn Mootoo all of Cedar Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Bernadine Reams; brother Charles Reams, sister-in-law, Nancy Reams; and niece Tina Reams.
